Lenten Recollection - Una Voce Canada
February 13, 2016

WESTMINSTER ABBEY
4851 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission, BC

Saturday, Feb. 13, 9 am - 4 pm

Lenten Recollection - "What went you out into the desert to see?"

Prepare to take advantage of the special graces available during Lent by beginning it with a day of recollection. Fr. Pablo Santa Maria of Holy Rosary Cathedral will lead this silent mini-retreat, giving two conferences that will help you to delve deeper into this penitential and richly spiritual season. There will be Sung Mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite in the morning and confessions in the afternoon.

"The observance of Lent is the very badge of Christian warfare... By it we gain strength against the princes of darkness, for it shields us with heavenly help. Should men grow remiss in their observance of Lent, it would be a detriment to God's glory, a disgrace to the Catholic religion, and a danger to Christian souls."
- Pope Benedict XIV
